Ingredients
Spinach , chopped – 2 cups
Paneer – 250 gms
Cheese – 1 cup
onion, chopped – 1 cup
tomatoes, chopped – 2 medium
ginger garlic paste – 1 tblspn
garlic, chopped – 1 tblspn
turmeric powder – 1/2 tspn
coriander powder – 1 tblspn
red chilli powder – 1 tspn
kasoori methi – 1 tblspn
cream – 1/2 cup
cilantro, chopped – a handful
Heat oil and add cumin seeds, chopped and chopped spinach.Saute till the spinach is cooked and keep aside.
Mix together grated paneer and cheese. Shape them into balls and stuff with the spinach mix.Coat the paneer balls with cornstarch and deep fry them until light brown.
To prepare the gravy: Heat oil. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, onions and ginger-garlic paste and saute till the onions are light brown. Add tomato puree and all the spice powders and simmer till the masala is cooked and oil floats. Add cream and kasoori methi and simmer 4 -5 minutes.
Add the koftas to the gravy just before serving.Garnish with cilantro.
